Germany - Magdeburg to Minden

Magdeburg's Old Town Square sits in front of the Town Hall and today is market day. They are setting up around an unusual dome held up by 4 pillars. It is apparently a gilded statue of Otto the Great riding his horse surrounded by angels. Otto I was the first Holy Roman Emperor and founder of the archbishopric of Magdeburg.
